Working closely with our local partner charities – Shriram Social Welfare Trust and Relief Foundation, we have a multi-stage involvement on a co-management basis with the Government of Tamil Nadu, in the three main juvenile and observation homes in Chennai, with equal responsibility for the health, education and rehabilitation of the children.
We also have five schools, two ashrams and provide education support through fee sponsorships and extra tuition for over 1,000 children. That apart, we run a Breakfast Program that combats malnutrition among the children, plus a CAREducation Helpline.
