The school was started in 2017 with a population of 150 students. Currently the students’ enrollment is at 500. Amara started working with this school in 2018 and decided to do so because there is great potential for growth in student population as there is no public secondary school in Kitengela town.

Prior to Our Involvement

As the school is the only public secondary school in the area with 20 feeder primary schools, they had to turn away 150 students in 2018 due to lack of space and resources.

Our Impact

We supported the funding of 2 of the 10 classrooms that Amara Charitable Trust committed to building. This ensures that more children can be enrolled and further their education beyond primary level.
